Hello everybody!

School is over until september. Here you can watch what I’ve done recently in my school (it’s in french).

Me voilà enfin en vacances. J’ai dit goodbye à mon école que je ne reverrai pas avant un long moment puisque je vais à Evry en septembre. Et ces derniers jours je me suis occupé d’une vidéo demandé par mon cher BDE pour communiquer sur les clubs et les activités extra-scolaires.

Je suis bientôt de retour chez moi où j’aurais du temps de libre pour continuer mes projets flash, et j’ai une autre vidéo en projet! Autant vous dire que ça promet!! :)

I decided to work again on Robot Construction in order to make something really nice. It wasn’t a perfect choice to put it with 3 unfinished projects that I finished quickly with a funny (or not) joke. I will now make a different end and add some other things to have something neat at the end!

AND, I’m working a bit on a new project. Not totally new ’cause if you’ve seen my movies, you would recognize where it comes from but be sure you’ll like when you’ll watch it. For the moment I keep the title for me.

I’ll try to do my best this week but it’s a bit hard, ’cause it’s the end of this school year and I have marketing projects to finish. Fortunately, I think it’s in a good way, so I shouldn’t be overbooked and should work a bit on these flash projects.

2 things to say in this post! Hourray! ^^

I’m still working on “Robot Construction”, I just have to draw and animate a few things, to make several tweens and it’ll be alright! I like what I’m doing even if it’s a bit simple for the moment.

When “Robot Construction” will be over, I’ll put it in a compilation of flash movies, I already have 3 short movies (What an office life ; A new battle for SquareHead ; DON’T PUSH THIS ****ING BUTTON), and of course I will submit it to Newgrounds. That should get a nice score (I hope).

I’m not that much on flash these days… but since yesterday, I’m beginning something, not sure what it’s gonna be. I think that I will make an animation about the construction of a robot. I’m just drawing right now (but I’m doing some little things to prepare my future animation!) and that’s cool ^^

Alright people, after finishing nwn2 (the official campaign and the extension) and ’cause I got rid of bad school stuff, I’m slightly back on my creative way! That’s cool. ^^

Maybe not this week, I dunno, but stay tuned now that I find kind of freedom again!

Je n’avais pas écrit de billet en français depuis un moment. C’est l’occasion idéale.

En bref, durant toute cette semaine (depuis vendredi, week-end compris), j’étais contraint à participer à un concours “projets d’entreprendre” sur la création d’une entreprise innovante à pertinence économique. Cela consistait en la recherche d’une idée intéressante au sein d’une équipe formée aléatoirement puis de la conception d’un plan d’affaires.

Déjà, premier point, dans une création d’entreprise, on se lance rarement avec des gens que l’on connaît pas ou peu, on se tourne plutôt vers des personnes qu’on apprécie et que l’on considère comme dignes de confiance. Je pense que c’est réellement contre-créatif de se voir attribué une équipe.

Deuxième point, l’innovation. Pour un élève ingénieur dans les télécoms comme moi, je pense que l’innovation découle plus de l’invention, de la création de concept. Et au vu des résultats, c’est plutôt le réchauffé qui a gagné. Sachant cela, si j’avais souhaité gagné, j’aurais pris une idée originale dont la sortie est prévue courant 2008. Il faut également savoir que la technicité des différents projets gagnants était incroyablement faible, donc facile à comprendre, et dans le cas de tous ces projets légèrement ou vraiment techniques, dont le fonctionnement n’est pas toujours facile à expliquer, je doute fortement que le jury se soit vraiment posé dessus.

Troisième point, l’originalité. Je pense vraiment être en mesure de savoir ce qu’est l’originalité, et ce n’est sûrement pas en optant pour la stratégie du deuxième point qu’on est original. Encore faut-il considérer les connaissances technologiques des membres du jury de ce concours… et c’est là que ça devient blasant pour beaucoup, puisque ils ne souhaitaient pas avoir en face d’eux des créatifs, mais plutôt des réceptifs, la combinaison des deux étant tout autant inconsidérée.

C’était la première édition de ce concours, je suis bien content que ce soit terminé. Je n’ai vraiment pas apprécié toute cette semaine, non pas dans l’activité donnée qui a permis de s’adapter à son groupe pour rendre son projet, mais plutôt parce que ce n’était vraiment pas bien rôdé. Et j’ai rarement vu une telle hypocrisie, à moins que ce ne fut “que” de la bêtise.

PS: Je parie que j’ai l’air énervé durant ces lignes, mais ce n’est pas vraiment ça. Je ne suis même pas déçu de ne pas avoir gagné lorsque j’ai vu les lauréats. Je conçois juste que j’ai perdu une semaine à me plonger dans quelque chose qui n’anime pas mon intérêt.

This time, I’m not able to work on my flash movies because of this intellectual week. And that’s not that funny, especially to go to school on the week-end. Nevertheless tomorrow would be cooler.

With 3 guys, we have to create a company with an innovative idea that could be financially interesting. I’m tired…
